New name for my github profile

1 minute read

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything here (something that I am working on changing).  But I wanted to come in and state that I have recently renamed my github username from ‘epanameno’ to ‘edpanameno‘ to match my domain name for this web site. Luckily I only have a few links that point to the old username in git hub and I think I have updated all of them.

The reason I’ve not been able to post anything here for a while has been because of work. I’ve been working on some neat projects (that unfortunately I can’t talk about at the moment) and they have taken up a lot of my time.  I have had a bit of time lately and have used it to finally sit down and learn javascript.  I have created two new repositories in my github account (js-playground and js-thegoodparts) to keep track of my progress. I’ve also been doing a lot of classic ASP.net programming (.NET 4.0) and it’s been fun and a great learning experience!  Anyhow, I’ll plan to add more stuff here in the next few days, weeks or even months as I do want to start cataloging my work/experience that relates to both my job, technical stuff and anything else that I deemed important enough to put in this blog.

Note: One thing that I am currently contemplating is to move the blog a sub-domain (i.e. blog.edpanameno.com) but I am still debating this as I don’t know if this fits well into the overall structure of this site.  I am going to have to think about it for the next few days and hopefully make my decision to do this or not!
